Point and Shoot!

We had a tiring climb last Sunday at Tarak Ridge but it was worth it. The night trek turned into a day hike because the last trip of the bus left us. Well, at least this one was successful. The first time I went here was also the first time I failed to finish a climb. Me and my friends got lost in the woods kind of like our own story of The Blair Witch Project. Just kidding! Good thing we evened out the score this time.

Tarak Ridge is located at Brgy. Alas-asin Mariveles, Bataan. For those of you who want an ultimate outdoor experience, I suggest you try this mountain. The trail is very challenging especially when you’re near the ridge. The view is really rewarding and the locals are friendly in this town. You can even take a shower at the Barangay Hall for FREE. :) And before you go back to Manila or wherever you’re from, make sure to try out Ate’s Tapsi near the Barangay Hall along the highway. It’s really tasty!
